Learn how to edit your YouTube videos faster in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017/2018 in this video editing tutorial! You can use these keyboard shortcuts, techniques, and built-in options to speed up your workflow like I did. 1. Q & W (00:27) Use these keyboard shortcuts to ripple delete everything before/after your cursor to the nearest cut! Q will delete everything before your cursor. W will delete everything after your cursor. 2. J, K, & L (01:40) Use these keyboard shortcuts to rewind, pause, and forward through your timeline. This removes the need to use your mouse and makes it easier to navigate through your clips. J will rewind through the timeline. K will pause the timeline. L will forward the timeline. 3. Presets (02:44) Create & use your own custom presets that you can make in the effects control panel. If you have a set of keyframes/effects that you've created, you can create a preset to use in the future. Right-click on the effects control panel to create a preset once you're done creating your effect. 4. Synchronizing (04:41) If you have multiple audio tracks of the same audio, you can easily synchronize all of them. This saves you a lot of time and is very helpful with music videos and sit-down talks/interviews. Simply place all the audio clips on your timeline, right click and click on "Synchronize". 5. Adjustment Layers (05:28) If you want to apply a certain look or effect or color grade on multiple clips instantly instead of applying them one by one, using adjustment layers can be very helpful.
