Watch Norton's support team expert, Nate Robbins, as he walks you through how to restore your files using Norton Online Backup. Transcript: Hi I'm Nate Robbins with Norton Support. We've all dealt with the frustration with trying to get your files back when your computer crashes or when you just upgrade to a new computer. The good news all your data is saved in a cloud if you use the Norton 360 online backup feature. To get started open your Norton 360 interface, and click on the backup icon. In the menu that pops up click on the link that says manage backup sets. We're going to set up in default settings for now, but you can come back later to adjust those if you choose. Click the save settings button down at the bottom. This brings up the activate backup screen. Your Norton account email address should already be in there so just type your password and click sign in. The next screen shows you how much back up space you have in your online backup account. Click the next button. That will take us back to the main Norton 360 screen. Click on backup again and this time click restore files. In the restore files screen you're going to need to select what you want to restore so click the view all button in the top right. In the restore files window it should show you which date sets you have available online to choose from. If you don't see the one that you're looking for, click the refresh button in the bottom left corner. Chose the data set that you want to restore from and click the okay button down below. Now that data set should show up in that restore from area. On the second section, this is where you chose which file and folders you want to restore. You can either browse for those or just click the check box to restore all files and categories. In the last area, this is telling us where we want to restore to. You can click the change button, select new location and either type in the path or browse to where you would like it to restore to. Lastly, let's verify all the settings to make sure that the data set you're restoring from is correct, which files and folders you want to restore and where they're going to. Then click the restore files button on the bottom. This screen shows you the progress as your files restore to your computer.
