TUTORIAL: Ohio Star Block!

http://bit.do/bZXAX Accuquilt: secret overstock sale.
Happy Friday friends! Today brings you another one of my quilt block tutorials! This time around we're looking at how to make the Ohio Star Block! For ages I've been intimidated of this block because of the funny-looking triangle points! But after exploring the construction a little bit more, I've learnt that making Quarter Squares Triangles (QSTs) are not that scary or hard to make at all!! Let me know what you think about this block and if you're keen on making it! I would love to see your efforts! (All links are below!) PS. My eight year old nephew makes a very small appearance in this video! Blink and you'll miss it!! Enjoy! ^_^ Measurement & Cutting Info: From the purple fabric cut: x4: 5" squares (for the corners of the block) x2: 6" squares (for the QSTs) From the print fabric cut: x1: 5" square (for the centre of the block) x2: 6" squares (for the QSTs) Follow the steps in the video to learn how to make x4 QSTs and then to see how the block is pieced together.
